Yes this is in the right section.I did not read the whole article but AKC is having Master Agility Championship along with the breed show.Like I said I just glanced the article but it sounds really fun.

Seems they have figured out where the money is.

They called us at the beginning of the year, right after their last show, about putting on a trial, except they aren't licensed, so they wanted to do some weird-o munge of agility. All live and on TV. We told them no, because we aren't messing in weird stuff live. I suspect lots of secretaries told them the same thing, so they held a match, got licensed, and now are having close to a real trial. We'll see how it goes!

Question is...what are the chances of actually making it through the random draw?

My thoughts exactly.Isn't Gail Shaw trial secreatry?I know alot of the big names will try and get into it also.It will be interesting to see who gets in.

Yeah, and isn't it nice that AKC allows Westminster to do as it pleases and advertise its unapproved judging panel, and it's unapproved show. The rest of us would get fined for that.

Hmm, I may have to send in an entry for the lottery draw just for the giggles of it since Edan's in Ex Std and Masters JWW. The changes of Edan and I actually getting selected in the lottery will be very slim.

it is listed as approved on the AKC site.....
opens Nov 18- costs 60 bucks to enter........

OK, it wasn't last week when they started to advertise it.

I also assume since they are not following the regs in other ways, that you don't actually earn legs at this trial. That it's more like the invitational or the national. But who knows? Not something I would pay money for.

That would suck if the people Q with their dogs and the Q's don't count. Why even bother going then?I wouldn't waste money either.A friend of mine wants to try and get in but her dogs aren't that fast and stress alot.
