What did you eat and where did you get it? Strange story.

Iodine.

I have a bug/spider bite of some kind that I have been putting iodine on, and today I came home to a chewed up bottle of iodine on their favorite bed. Only a little bit seeped out, so it must taste awful, else I would have had a floor soaked with it.

I have a lot of hair, and I use the half inch bands they do up Poodle hair with. So if a dog eats those, I don't care. They don't, they much prefer iodine and pens.

My oh my. I guess I'm fortunate. Both my Shelties have been highly embarrassed that they feel like throwing up, so they run into the bathroom. Neechee would run into the shower stall, and Bela just goes behind the door. If we are all downstairs (my house was designed by a mad man - only bathrooms are on the second floor), Bela will go barf by the back door or the door into the garage in a pinch. Neither one ever makes/made a sound, either. You just go into the bathroom and SURPRISE!!!

I have long hair (between shoulder blades and waist), and have to be extremely careful about hairpins, bobby pins, scrunchies, etc. Gracie will try and eat them, and Bela thinks anything Gracie eats must be good, so she attempts to eat whatever it is, too. Not a month ago, I had a scare with Bela, thinking she had eaten one of my 3-inch Amish hairpins! Turned out she got a dose of Ipecac for nothing, and boy, was she mad at me!
