I did have one dog that was just a foster and he was not very hospitable, he ate my denture!That was the most expensive foster I ever had.

My sable Jack has eaten wallpaper off my bathroom wall, all eight arms of his squeaky octopus toy, assorted underwear, and two of his car harnesses.
I never realized how lucky I was to have had toothless shelties! My
sheltie mix, however, has a crazy affinity for any type of soap, and we have to be very carefull nothing is left in her reach. And then there was the time she chewed up all the furnace filters. That was NOT fun!

Sheltie Bubbles !!
Snowy when you said that your sheltie mixed has a thing for soap all I can think of is telling my grandson not to eat the soap because he would be pooping bubbles out his butt !!

I think the question should be more like What has your sheltie not chewed up!! My sheltie puppy (9 months) chews almost EVERYTHING! Including:
His bed (with a nonslip bottom)
Blankets
his rope toys (shredded!)
any stuffed toy he can get ahold of
carpet
my clothes
anything on the floor!
and much MUCH more!!
The only thing he doesn't chew on is his chew treats (bones, treats, etc.)!!!!

Max The Destroyer!
LOL, Max, our 1 year old sable, IS getting better about his chewing/destroying things, but his worst offense was biting the upholstery in the car to shreds! But, I think he was egged on by passerbys that teased him when he and Sparky (our tri Sheltie) were waiting for us in the car on day. Sparky is not a chewer, thank God!
Max has also chewed:
carpeting
clothes
shoes
newspapers
used facial tissue
LOL, Max, our 1 year old sable, IS getting better about his chewing/destroying things, but his worst offense was biting the upholstery in the car to shreds! But, I think he was egged on by passerbys that teased him when he and Sparky (our tri Sheltie) were waiting for us in the car on day. Sparky is not a chewer, thank God!

My dogs are good about not chewing or destroying anything. In fact, Treader is usually even gentle with his toys. Only a couple have had to be replaced, and that was from playing tug-a-war excessively. My uncle's JRT Snoopy borrowed one of toys once too and the toy was torn to pieces the next day.

A couple of rubber sandals that belong to my 13-year old daughter, lots of stuffed toys (he wants to take the stuffing out--LOL!) and better watch the kleenex box cuz he'll have a field day with that!

OK...lets see...what have my guys chewed???? Every blind in my entire house, the carpet, vinyl, various pairs of underwear, scrubs, XBox controls, XBox games, WII game cases, DVD's, numerous pairs of shoes, baby dolls, numerous stuffed animals, blankets...heck I think the only thing they havent eaten is the furniture, and thankfully the interior in my Suburban. Bella even ate her kennel..from the inside..out. Go figure??!!!! But man ol man where would we be without them???
