What is the difference btwn AKC Nov A and B?

The way I remember it is Novice A vs. B is all about you the handler. If you have ever titled a dog in AKC agility then you can't enter A.

Excellent A vs. B is all about the dog though. It doesn't matter how many times or to what level the handler has titled the dog. The dog always has to enter A first and earn 3 Qualifying scores before moving to B.

And one would think that would also apply to Rally Excellent. NOT!! That's how I blew $40 on National entries. If the dog has an obedience title (CD,etc.) then they have to go to Excellent B. Grumble, grumble. They changed the rules to let people move from Excellent A to B after closing, but not until I had lost $40.

Gosh, that's confusing! What a shame to lose your entry because of that.

{smack}

And that is why I hate those rulebooks. They're not the easiest things to read. In fact, it's like trying to read law books or something. lol. That sucks, $40! I feel your pain.
