What is the lineage of your pup?

I recently (within the last 6 months) came across an article online that Tom had wrote about Halstor's Peter Pumpkin, it was an interesting article, I'll have to see if I can track it down again.
 
Pete was a prolific boy, for sure. I think I have Peter Pumpkin in Bacca's line about 10 generations back. He must still be smiling!
 
ok now i am getting curious. what do you do if the parents or grandparents aren't on the site. I have photocopies of Jake's parents pedigrees Only 2 champs but he does have Apple Acres, Larenta, and Dury Voe. Lots of dogs with no kennel name mixed in. It really doesn't matter though as plans are to neuter him, unless an established breeder thinks he has something to contribute to that breeder's line. I don't know enough to say if he is quality or not. He was bred by Little G kennels in Kentucky.

I was wondering which Daval you have as my two are Daval lines.
 
I finally got around to looking at Koji's pedigree. Although it's basically made up of Daval, it's amazing where those dogs come from. With him, he's got

Zion's Man About Town and Tuff-E-Nuff
Kylene Cindahope Town Cryer
Karosel Town Flirt
Macdega Glenhart Gran Prix (who's grandfather is Piano Man of course, lol)
The rest are all Daval.

Many of those listed above, lead back to many that people have listed here.
I really love that my dogs are somewhat related. lol. Koji great-grandfather is Miko's dad. But no direct lineage.

Those are Miko's grandparents.
Daval Resolute is his paternal grandfather and Daval Nina Ricci is his maternal grandmother!

Daval Resolute is FAR up Koji's line (his great great grandfather).

How old is your dog? I'm just curious because Miko is 12, so Resolute and Nina Ricci are older. Looks like our dogs are related. :)

(ETA: I just realized how inbred Miko is. Cuz Nina Ricci is also Resolutes Mom. LOL)

Daval Resolute= Great-great grandfather for Cranberry too. :wink2:
Cranpup will be one year in November :smile2:
 
If you can't do a direct lineage, then you look for siblings that have been registered because they were "in the ring".

That's I how I track Bacca. He's not registered himself on the pedigree website himself, but his siblings ae.

And with Indy I went with the first most ancestree that was registered
