What makes a great coach?

For agility blog day today it was posted. Great question IMHO!

It is my belief that good instructor does not have to be world team member, but the one that cares enough to train me like I will become world team member/ even that I have no aspirations of that sorts:smile2:/
Today I am grateful to my trainers for having so little frustration in our training and adding so much joy to our journey with dogs.

I too am very happy with my trainer, even though she has never gone to worlds she has run 2 dogs of her own thru to ATHC level and done regional and National competitions, and is very involved with the entire AAC organization as well as the USDAA. She has worked with many top trainers Susan G and others., But the main thing is her unflaping demeanor, and her treatment of both dog and handler in training situations that arise I have never seen her get upset or frustrated with anyone or any dog for that matter. I couldn't be happier with my choice. She has shown me countless times that if I do my Job correctly then Storm is gonna do her's correctly 99% of the time, so don't fault the dog.
