When to neuter

I think 3 is a good age to neuter, I would've waited longer if I could've with Piper but the marking was just too much of an issue. I had him neutered at 2 and he literally stopped marking the next day and now 8 months later he sometimes tries to mark occasionally when on a walk but that's all. It's also made him a way better obedience dog, more focused on me than he ever was before.
