When to start bathing my new puppy

I bathed the little one on Saturday. She was very good about it, only tried to get out of the sink once. I washed up to her neck no head. She loves the towel. I make it a habit of drying my dogs feet off after they were outside. Of course if it is raining, the whole body gets a good drying. I have to start to teach her about the blow dryer. My other dog is terrified of it and she is slowly learning it is not a mean thing. I want this one to love it and have no fear of it at all.

I need to get the proper grooming tools and line brush her this week. It is not going to be easy, she has so much energy, not sure if she will sit still that long... lol I have just been using a pin brush that has plastic bristles and the metal comb. She is starting to shed her puppy fur, so I will help it along. We also play with her paws all the time.

We never wash her face. Maybe witha warm, wet washclothe, but the second their head gets wet, they panic (Maybe afraid they will drown?)

My husband and I brush as a team effort. He takes a handful of her favorite treats and s l o w l y feeds them to her as I brush. She learned to lay down and accept the brushing because she equated it with good food. We are slowly backing off on the amount of treats. It takes time, especially while they go through the bitey face stage!
