Our annual AKC show is this weekend, and we went yesterday to watch the Shelties, see lots of other fabulous dogs, and check out the vendors just in case we (ahem) needed anything.
Well gosh, we saw one beautiful Tri and 3 sables, and that was IT!

We took our 3 along, and we were approached by a super nice lady asking to pet them. She had a Sheltie and her daughter had one also, but they had not brought them to the show. I love how Sheltie people just automatically want to know all about yours, and show you photos of theirs, etc. She had photos of two gorgeous larger Sable boys.
Then as we walked around watching some of the group (Working, Sporting etc) events we ran into someone who had an 18 week old bi-black Sheltie pup. She ran over to us to talk, asked if we wanted to meet her puppy (like anyone would say No, thanks!)
Super cute guy and Meadow really wanted to play with him but they were both on leash of course and surrounded by tons of people and other dogs, so no luck there.
It was a lot of fun, and there's usually not too many Shelties, but still! Our breeder did not make it this year unfortunately, or there would have been a few more. I was just hoping for a bigger turnout.
