Which Dremel?

I bought the 8300 from the local hardware store a couple weeks ago, and I LOVE it! The Lithium-Ion battery lasts forever, and it's a really nice size. One of the things I looked for is too make sure that the speed is easily adjustable, and not the same button as the on/off switch.

Can we have a dremmel sticky please?

This topic has been covered many times. And I'm one of the biggest fans of dremmels and in particular the Stylus 100. And I get tired of hearing "myself" speak to its virtues. :rolleyes2::lol:

This topic just came up just a day or two ago, and here it is again.

I know that newcomers to the forum don't necessarily know history and might have already been addressed, but Kelly and her team have been working hard to isolate these into popular threads.

I encourage newcomers to the forum to scan through these before reposting what might already have been posted before.

This forum is not like Yahoo Answers! Kelly and her team don't delete questions and answers. They spend a huge amount of time categorizing them to make them searchable again.

Ok, I'm off my soap box for tonight.

Aww! I thought this WAS the thread from a few days ago! I bought mine in between the last thread, and this one, so thought I actually had something to contribute this time.

I can't seem to find the other recent dremel thread. If one of you can PM me the link, I can combine the threads.

My goodness, this was discussed over and over. But like you, I couldn't link it all together either.

All I know that I posted over and over about the Stylus 100, and how to use it, and how to get your dog used to it, I felt that I was repeating myself again and again.

I have noticed some difficulty with the search engine lately. Perhaps this needs a look see. Threads that I know were posted turned up nothing in the search. But when I went manually through I was able to find them.

I usually just use clippers -- mostly because it's so quick and I always worried that the sound of the Dremel might freak Phebe out. (Why, I don't know. Nothing much phases her.) Today I tried the Dremel for the first time, and I think the silly girl actually liked it. Or, maybe it was the treats she was getting from Mike. She never tried to pull her foot away even once. Count me as another Dremel convert.

Yes, once they are used to it, they just kinda go with it.

A couple of tips....trim the fur around the nails first. If fur gets caught, it will turn them off the dremel for awhile.

(I got Indy's butt hair caught in the dremmel once...he was not impressed. Ever since, he's a little skittish when I do his back legs).
