Mine also just have to re Sheltieize my legs after a shower-- can't have them smelling clean and like soap-- it is their sworn duty... I think it is a "lets get everyone in the pack smelling the same" thing.

Hadn't thought of that, but yes I end up smelling like dog breath!

I’ve managed to tell my dogs ‘out’ enough times (when Finnie or Piper want to lick my legs) that they no longer bother me when I have a bath!
Sitting on the toilet is another story…that is the one time every dog wants scratches!

When we redid our master bath, we opted to do it as a wet room and have no shower door - it's all open space. Both dogs will come in as I shower, but stay clear of the water. Brodie at times sits just outside the doorway, and yes, licking legs when I am done seems to be a big concern... I guess they feel I need help grooming, but it might make sense that they want to put the correct scent n me... "Yuck! She doesn't smell like us any more!". Pull out the Sonicare toothbrush, and Deacon goes crazy... for some reason he wants to use it as well... and no.. that's not allowed.

Both dogs, and Gizmo, follow me to the bathroom. Deacon barks at me when I sit on the toilet. I figure it's because when he's doing his business, I am out there 'barking' quick, quick! So when I am doing mine, he does the same back at me.
