Who uses stuffed "toys" with your furkids?

Pippi loves her stuffed toys. She has 2 elephants and a giraffe that need to be in bed with her. So cute. Pip will even bring her pink elephant out of her crate to sleep with when she is tired during the day.

Sca liked stuffed toys and had a singing mouse that always got him going. Unfortunately Spitfire guts them so we don't have many around for long anymore (of course I would feel sorry for Sca but he eats beds so Spitfire cannot have one)

Layla loves Skinneez: Foxy, Weasel and Skunk

That's what I meant by the stuffing-less toys Callie likes. I couldn't remember the name of them -- but Amazon has LOTS more than our local pet store carries. The one I'm really interested in is the wooly sheep! What Sheltie wouldn't love one??

Zulu loves stuffed toys. He especially likes to pull off anything attached to the body. We have a ton of toys with no ears, tails, or eyes!

We get a few stuffed toys once in a while but they do not last. Jester has fun with them for a short while then I can almost see it in his eyes.

"All must conform you will be eviscerated."

Then we find head limbs and especially stuffing everywhere hard to say exactly why this happens but have noticed the only intact toy never had a squeaker. Maybe it is more a matter of, "where is that annoying sound coming from. That sound must die"

Fox usually doesn't start pulling stuffing out until Jester has already made a hole. He would much rather take apart pens, erasers, rip apart cardboard, dad's watch, dad's glasses anything he can snatch off dad's desk. Maybe he has to many other things to chew on to chew holes in his toys?

Know Tala our angel used to have a couple of stuffed toys he played with they were his buddies.

They all seem to like them at least...

Dickens has a whole lot of stuffed toys, but what he actually does with them is anybody's guess. He must do something, because they're always lying about. At times when I'm in the basement exercising I can hear him clomping noisily around upstairs, and when I come up there are usually stuffed toys in the various rooms. And while he'll often bring me a stuffed toy and drop it in front of me, the most he'll do with it is fetch once or twice.

His real favorite is a Swiffer sweeper that I bought especially for him. I'll drag it across the floor and he'll "attack" it, barking, growling and worrying the head of it.

So basically, what we are saying is, "Let us know how it goes with Claire Bear's new stuffed animal."

Oh good grief! I'm on the road training clients and just now checked in from Cedar Rapids Iowa. (Claire's home with Mama BTW, she's not traveling yet) We found an old retired stuffed bunny that had gone through the wash and gotten felted so nobody really cared if it got mauled. We set it down next to her and she mouthed it a couple times like she might be trying to pull it closer? But after that has pretty much ignored it.

I'm going to look for some "Skineees" (did I say that right?) Those look like they might have some appeal. I think she'd go for the little lambies.

Good replies so far!:smile2:
