Snap was great before the jump. I agree with Dr. Shelli. Looks like the jump increased his excitement level.

I'm sorry......I couldn't help but LAUGH when he started barking at the judge!!!! I know how you feel though. At Maggie's 1st freestyle competition, she totally refused almost ALL of her moves. I WAS SO EMBARRASSED!!!!! Through the whole video all you can hear is: MAGGIE, MAGGIE, MAGGIE, OH NO.....MAGGIE, MAGGIE....LOL

I wanted to bark at that judge in Simpsonville this spring... glad your pup had his say! 
Hey, that other dog seems to have been the trigger and your dog looked happy and aroused and ready to play. He will do better next time!
My dogs have been "entertaining" in the ring and I have more than once wished the floor to swallow me up, but later (much later) those are the laughs and stories that bond me with my fellow dog show enthusiasts. No one really cares about the 195, or really cute figure 8.
