Wish Maia luck tomorrow!

I think Ann's suggestion sounds spot on.

I'm sorry Maia had such a difficult day. Sounds like she was just overwhelmed, the poor baby girl. I about teared up reading about her. Give her a big hug from me. Meggie sends Sheltie kisses too.

Yes Ann suggestion is correct...that is why we usually bring the younger ones to shows to hang out..I even bring my older girl if she is not showing because shes not exactly crazy about the whole showing thing:rolleyes2:

Also since you have someone else handling her can you have have her work with Maia when your there like in handling class to get used to her new handler. My one who hates showing is also a Juniors dog for my cousin so she has to work with her to get used to her a few weeks or more before showing it just makes her more comfortable. That is alot of stress for one day on her, new person, not used to being groomed to the nines, strange judge lady poking her..etc.. Some shelties are funny there is that fine line between being ok in the ring and pushing them over the edge, Ive pushed mine some days over the edge by changing and doing little things than forget it I minds well pack up and call it a day!

I've been told today that I should bring her to shows too, just to watch. She knew her handler, as Bev, her handler was practicing with Maia in handling classes for the last 4 weeks. (I only did the first class with Maia)
We will see how it all goes.
She is doing much better today. She's all rested. She spent the day at home with Chinook, while I was at the show. My dad came and let them out. She's passed out again now.
Thank you so much for all your advice, and support you guys! You guys are the best!
