Thank you. I really have to work with her on brushing and combing. Right now when I work on her she has a hissy fit and tries to climb up on me to get away.
At least I know what to expect for the future with her.
Just a suggestion - but cute and adorable as she is, do not put up with hissy fits. My last shelties did that and it evolved into her nipping at me everytime I tried to brush out her pants. It got so I'd make a half hearted attempt and quit - until the breeder told me " She's got you trained hasn't she!" Lightbulb moment for me, so I stopped letting her get away with that and eventually we got to the point where she'd sometimes fall asleep whan I was brusing her out.
She's still little so I don't suggest you do grooming for more than short little sessions at a time to get her used to it - but do it quite often, and if she tries to pull away just say no and gently hold her in place while you finish what you started. She'll soon get the message that hissy fits are pointless.
