Workers Raffle Ideas

... Other big items ppl love....dog beds!!!!
At our club gift exchange, ppl kept fighting over dog beds and those get a lot of raffle tickets too. Especially those down ones that roll up like a sleeping bag. Oh, here they are. They're from ABO Gear. I love mine...that I stole from the poor woman everyone was stealing from. I think Miko and Koji loved it during the cold days we were out.

Treats are always a big hit. As are bully sticks and those reindeer antlers or things like them.

Those are the big 3 here.

The beds are a popular item here, too. We have one of those that I won in worker raffle last spring. Phebe loves it. I'm also going to check out Marshalls here. They had the down beds for $10 last fall, and I've seen lots of other really nice dog things there.

Yup, the woman who bought them for our gift exchange said she found them at Tuesday Morning for like $15 or $20. I forget. I just knew it was cheap!

We tend to get items like you are discussing for a general raffle for all attendees but they sound GREAT for a Workers Raffle.

What we tend to do for Workers Raffles are discount certificates ($2.00 off toward class or trial entry), 1 run (worth about $15), or full day (worth about $60 if you do all 5 runs) certificates toward future entries.

Oh duh! Forgot about the ever important vouchers. :) Usually we have two vouchers for free day or weekend.

Here's what I've bought so far:

6 self-serve dog wash gift certificates (only had to pay for 3, and the store gave me 3 for free)
2 poop bag dispensers with bags
2 squeaky mat toys (a sheep and a duck)
3 felted wool rings
2 flat bunnies with squeakers (you can stuff these with a water bottle to make a crunchable toy)
1 plush tug pheasant with a rope neck
2 treat bags (the nice pouch ones that cinch shut so you can toss them)
1 foldable bowl
4 collapsible bowls (the silicone ones)
2 puffy crate mats with non-slip back
2 microfiber towel sets
1 set of balance disks
1 cargo area cover
2 "Don't complain TRAIN" car magnets
1 "Agility Dog on Board" car magnet
8 assorted packages of natural treats (no wheat, corn or soy)

I think I have enough. I can use the rest of the budget for SWAT bucks that can be used for future trial entries or with the food vendor.

Our club gives entry vouchers to the trial committee and volunteers who take on major jobs like Chief Course Builder.
