Gah, that is reminiscent of our dog with the kidney issues, though she was younger. Stop with the "dental" food, there isn't enough animal protein to sustain a carnivore for long. Those foods are not designed to be life-long foods.
Brewers Rice, Whole Grain Corn, Chicken By-Product Meal, Powdered Cellulose (sawdust), Pork Fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols and citric acid), Soybean Mill Run...
Your dog needs animal protein. First, get the bloodwork done, and while you are waiting, order Lew Olson's book "Raw and Natural Nutrition for Dogs", and read up on proper carnivore diets.
Rice and boiled chicken is fine for now (raw chicken is OK too), beef heart is another good meat, as is tripe if you can get it.
FWIW, I feed between 5 and 7 every evening (a single meal for the day), and my Collie pukes up bile at 5:30 if she isn't fed. Won't kill her, but she makes the funniest faces while she's at it.
