Yay! Shelties Only Trial!!!

Shoot Cheryl I would fly you in my private jet but I lent it out to John Travolta.LOL:biggrin2:Heck if I can drive from Conn. to Tenn in 2 days when it should have been a 3 day trip you can drive. I went to places I did not even know existed and my GPS whom I dubbed the B--ch in the box took me thru the mountains. It was fun but I was never so scared going thru them.

Oh gawd. And if I went in Nov, there could be cold white stuff. Okay, no way. I'd need to fly. let me know when you get it back from John. lol.

Glad you are coming :) It's a fun show and nice to have all the venues together with a lot of dogs that are cross entered from breed to performance. We also have a raffle so don't forget to get tickets :biggrin2:

So excited. :) Gotta get my premium in. Tami, do you know if the Rally premium is out yet? And would I have conflicts with agility? Never did that before, so I have no clue.

It doesn't look like the Rally stuff is out yet. The show secretary that does the breed classes also does the obed/rally and the link for our show isn't live yet on her site...driving me nuts! I have a puppy that is doing sweeps/puppy class and my finished boy is doing breed to support the club ;) I keep checking her site every few days but technically the entries won't close until 10/27 so I guess I have time LOL

I doubt you'll have any problems with scheduling I'm pretty sure they'd work with you. It's not a big facility so the field for agility and the field for rally are literally 30 feet apart separated by a shaded area and walkway. There is a 4 ft fence and on the other side of that is the breed area. You'd definitely be able to see everything with out worrying about missing your classes :) If you happen to be on the breed side (lunch/raffle is on that side of fence) be sure to find me. It shouldn't be hard my easy up is caltrans orange! LOL I joke that I'm the lifeboat in a sea of blue easy ups :)

Are you doing any other specialties? I know most don't have agility so it might not be worth the drive. We'll be at the Ramona specialty on 10/9, Primm, Nv on 10/16, Pleasanton on 10/23 and 24 and then Tri Valley in Nov. I know Ramona is just breed classes but the other 2 are in conjunction with all breed shows and Pleasanton has agility but again I'm sure it's not worth the drive for that :) Santiago and So Cal Sheltie clubs have their specialties in Feb but again Santiago is just breed but I believe So Cal has obed/rally.

Okay, I admit. I've been checking and putting it on my calendar with reminders since about.....early summer. LOL. So, I can wait a few more days for the Rally. I gotta get started on training with Miko. Yikes!

Oh, very nice. I was expecting a huge place.

Our old canopy was red....in a sea of white and blue. So I totally understand. Although the CalTrans orange will definitely stand out. I'll make a note to see if I can find you. I'll be under a red EZ-up (on the agility side, of course, if you happen to come my way).

I probably wouldn't do any other specialties if they're that far away. Yikes. This one is far away enough (I keep thinking...will I have time to shop at Camarillo?). I forgot to go to the one in Santa Ana last weekend (just to watch/see). But yeah, since I do mainly agility, most of these wouldn't be worth it to drive out so far....except to see all the cute Shelties (that's always worth it, hahaha).

I believe you guys are having another one in April? Or is that the agility one only? I tried to make it last year, but Koji was far from ready. I may try to go to that one. I'll check out what Santiago and SoCal is offering. I hope they have webpages. BTW, I went through Santiago when I first got Miko. :) That's how I found Alice of Daval (can't believe she moved to PA).

Ok Cheryl,

I received my show premium in the mail today!! It's getting closer :) I checked the website and the link still isn't live but it's a step in the right direction :)

If you don't get a premium and would like one I can mail you one if you PM me your address.

And yes, our club does a 2 day agility trial in April in Ventura. It's an all breed.

Oh yay!!! Are you just doing Conformation? I'll give them a couple of days to update the website and I'll check back. Hopefully it'll be up soon.
