Zoey's rabies shot experience

So our little petite princess Zoey went to the vet today for her rabies shot. She already completed her other shots 3 weeks ago, but the vet wanted her rabies shot on a separate day as she is so small.

Zoey didn't seem to mind the shot itself at all, not a squeak, not a whimper. But on coming home she got up into the loveseat and was pouting and sleeping and droopy eared for quite some time. She was really being a drama queen about it all, so I took a little video of her. Enjoy. BTW, after a 2.5 hour nap she is up zooming around and quite perky.

Thank you for sharing the video, it was indeed very very cute and looked very very dramatic LOL :) Pudding was like that too, not just rabies, where she'd be sooo drowsy after her vaccines. We were advised too that its better to give the dogs vaccines on separate days than getting a bunch on the same day, so I'm glad you did!
 
What a complete scream!!!! And the song -- I think that's a video that deserves to go viral! :lol:
 
Hee hee! Buffy was also droopy eared and depressed after her shots as she was so small as a puppy. But I think Zoey takes the cake. :winkgrin:
 
Drama Queen Zoey!!! Oh my, she was so cute though! Poor thing. You should add her zoomies at the end of that video and say, "good as new". LOL. Thanks for sharing.
 
Thank you for sharing that video. I agree with the others it needs to go viral. I was laughing she looked so pathetic. (Not that you should laugh when a puppy looks that pathetic). She looked like someone stole her icecream cone.
