Zulu's New Ball

Zulu loves to push a big ball around the yard. He also likes me to toss him the ball so he can send it back with his nose. We buy cheap ones at Wally Word, as they eventually pop when he hits it just right with his teeth. Then the wife brings home this crazy ballView attachment 12121 . It is incredibly bright. Zulu loves pushing it around, but when we do the toss, he misjudges his leap and completely misses the ball. I know dogs do not see color like we do, but I am wondering if he is not seeing the size correctly due the crazy color combinations.

My girls go ape over the ethical pet butterballs. The 8 inch size have been a hit. We had one, a tiger, then I had to get more, a cheetah and a zebra. They tackle them, they play tug of war, they fetch them, they catch them, and now they end up in bed with us.
Maybe the rainbow colors confound Zulu...could it catch the light and reflect it.

Cooper and Tara LOVE to do that. Especially Cooper. He will play himself out. Of course, he'll also play with a tennis ball by himself. Never seen a dog throw a ball before, but he does. And inside, he'll just drop it and wait for it to roll away. He's such a silly puppy.

That ball is crazy! Melli loves to push a ball but my shepherd just pops it. Cubby is not at all interested in pushing a ball (there goes my plan for taking treibball class!)

THANKS A LOT! I've never heard of these things until just now. And now, Cooper and the Belles MUST get one! It's all YOUR fault. :ROFLMAO::Penguin:

Well you know you have to spoil the furbabies. Didn't you read the fine print on their contract. "Must have entertaining cute toys at regular intervals". I got these after Savannah was getting hairy tongue from their goDog fuzz balls. It was also picking up foxtails and other poking stuff, so I needed something as an alternative. You KNOW how Shelties pitch fits when their toys aren't "just" so.
