  • Thanks! It was less than 6 months ago that picture was taken. I can't believe how much he's grown! Where did that little baby go!
    Hi Janice,
Well a slight change of plans. I am not getting the bi-blue male. I spoke with the breeder and we both agreed that he might be a bit too much to handle, as he is the biggest, and a bully, and my Chinook is extremely passive. So, she is going to pick one out for me from the other 4 in the litter. I am hoping it will be the blue merle boy - he's the cutest I think. So we will see. I fly to get him (or her) in two weeks!
Thank you Janice. I was lucky in finding Chinook. He is such a great dog. He is very laid back, and hardly barks (except at the vacuum, broom etc.). He absolutely loves other dogs and people and kids. It's just me and him at home, and he mopes around when its just the two of us. I am looking forward to getting Clipper, a bi-blue. I befriended his breeder on line on anther sheltie forum, when my last sheltie, Dorian had cancer and we've kept in touch since then. Then she emailed me and said that she is breeding one of her dogs, and that this is going to be her last breeding, and offered me one of the puppies. I was able to choose whichever one I wanted after her, so I consider my self very lucky, as I don't show. I am sure Chinook will be in heaven with a permanent new buddy. Your son must love Shelly! How old is he? My niece and nephew, 2 and 4, are in love with Chinook and keep calling him theirs. My sister would get them a puppy, but we think that they would exhaust it to death!
Hi Janice, I love your albums! Shelly is beautiful. It's amazing how they change, and its wonderful to see the transformation! I look forward to seeing her grow into a stunning lady. (Now I wish I kept such a detailed log of Chinook! He is 25 weeks old.)

Hi Janice...I'm new to the forum, as of today. Your little Shellie is beautiful....I love the pictures from 1 day to 18 weeks.. It's amazing how much they change....
    Hi Janice!

Help me encourage other folk on signing up. I'm working on a campaign and appreciate the help. I'm on other dog forums, but I really don't get 1/10th of the enjoyment that I get out of this site. I really want this one to work.

Bacca's ears came out partially tipped. The glue remover, Detachol, worked great. Very little mess and smell. And did not irritate his ears. I did have to take scissors for a final clean up but all in all better than before.

I could only find this glue on Ebay. But didn't cost alot.
Oh Shelly is soo cute! My CeCe made it in just a couple of days ago too. That's her with her head in the cooler! We were giving her ice cubes and she figured out where we were getting them from. I too sent the picture in several weeks ago and thought I would never make it on, but I check the pictures every day. I love the cute pictures on SheltieNation. Well good, now both our Shelties are famous!!
Oh, you've got to get some more pictures up! I love to see how Sheltie pups grow. With other breeds it seems so predictable, but with Shelties, their ears change, their colour changes from week to week.
