Thank you Janice. I was lucky in finding Chinook. He is such a great dog. He is very laid back, and hardly barks (except at the vacuum, broom etc.). He absolutely loves other dogs and people and kids. It's just me and him at home, and he mopes around when its just the two of us. I am looking forward to getting Clipper, a bi-blue. I befriended his breeder on line on anther sheltie forum, when my last sheltie, Dorian had cancer and we've kept in touch since then. Then she emailed me and said that she is breeding one of her dogs, and that this is going to be her last breeding, and offered me one of the puppies. I was able to choose whichever one I wanted after her, so I consider my self very lucky, as I don't show. I am sure Chinook will be in heaven with a permanent new buddy. Your son must love Shelly! How old is he? My niece and nephew, 2 and 4, are in love with Chinook and keep calling him theirs. My sister would get them a puppy, but we think that they would exhaust it to death!
