  • I love this photo in your avatar - its my favourite of the ones you have posted. She looks just like a baby, snug as a bug cuddling mum (or does dad have long hair?).
Forgot to mention...I took Bailey to petsmart puppy classes. She loved it and I did learn a few useful tips. Bailey really benefited from the "puppy play time". The first day she was scared of the larger dogs. By the end of the 8 weeks, she was trying to play with them. I'm sure there are better schools out there, but for the every day dog and person, petsmart classes are good. It also depends on the trainer they have.
Her harness is so cute! She is already getting bigger! I took so many pictures of Bailey, but that's because I was unemployed when I first got her and I don't have children. Take as many picture of you can. Trust me, they grow up so fast. I was looking at pictures from a few months ago and I don't even remember Bailey looking that way. If I didn't have a picture and I would've completely forgotten.

Bailey has her good days and her bad days. She's better when she has a lot of play time and exercise to burn all that energy. She's very mischievous. She keeps walking on my night stand. lol
I just called Don at work and read him your message regarding his pictures of Mally. He said how cool is that (what you said) He said for me to tell you your comments made his day. He does not know he is as good as he is in photography/he's always striving to be better. Thanks again.
    Denise, (Mally's Mom)

PS Mally is a boy (short for Malachi) it's so funny everyone thinks Mally is a girl. And when our daughter, Emily was born everyone thought she was a boy(she was bald)
Thanks for your message, it took me ages to come up with Deska's name. His breeder wanted me to keep his original name (Des) but that was my stepfathers name so I found the surname Deska - which supposedly means "Faithful" which suits a sheltie down to the ground. Of course Japanese people think its funny because deska means "Is it?".

Deska didnt bark until Tully learnt to bark, and not to be out done by his little sister he had to be louder and longer! I regret now wishing he would bark as a pup (lol). With the new kitten I am hoping he will quieten down a bit because he scares her into hiding with his barking.

PS - I think everyone with a sheltie should have a butt shot! They look as cute from the back as the front.
I just happen to have that little black harness in my house. I knew she would outgrow it, so no since in getting a cuter colored one. I've seen the one you bought. It's a cute harness!

The teenage years are not fun. She has so much energy. My parents didn't do a good job of tiring her out yesterday. She didn't want to sleep. She kept running around my room like a mad dog. I had to put her in her crate for the night. I felt bad, but I had to go to sleep. Thankfully, she layed down and went right to bed.
I have done that so many times with rain coats. I purchased 3 before I finally brought Bailey with me and found one that fits. 4th times the charm...
I knew never to put a dog in a wired crate with tags on their collar. However, a few times I put bailey in her crate with tags on her harness. I did get caught twice. I was in the room both times. It was just for a second while I cleaned up an accident, but that's how fast it can happen.
Thank you for the photo comment :) My only other tip is if you are going to put her in a wired crate, make sure there are no dog tags on her collar or harness. It can get caught in the crate and possibly choke her.
I actually just looked at Bailey's photos. Her blaze angles to the other side, but they both have that slightly crooked white fur line on their head.
