I have two males that are littermates. I knew all the bad things they say about them being too close or harder to train, etc. It's malarkey. My boys are very different and certainly not bonded to each other. It's more up to how you treat them than how close in age they are.
Anybody who says...
The crating won't be a problem as long as it's your pup's safe place. Never EVER use a crate as a punishment or put them in it for discipline. My boys love their crates and feel safe and happy in them. You will need to give them a mid-day break until they are a year old because as much as they...
Awwww. How cute. :)
The ears look a little big, but our first Sheltie went though a stage where he had "bat ears" so it's hard to say how they will end up unless you start training them now. I live in the "heart" of PA Dutch country and we've got these Amish "breeders" all over the place. While...

My very first dog was a Siberian Husky purchased from a pet store. I wasn't raised with animals or ever had a pet dog growing up. From day one I did everything wrong based on some bad advice from an experienced "trainer". We never used an e-collar...

Call your doctor for a prescription. It sounds like you are suffering from Sheltitis SDHD (Severe Dog Hair Deficiency). The only known cure is being covered in Shelties wearing dark cotton clothing. ;)
This is our first dog ... raised from an 8 week old pup.

His name was "Yukon Pierre" but we just called him Pierre. :wink2:
Huskies present some unique challenges some of which have been touched on already so excuse me if i'm a little...
Good place to start ... Let me first say that every Sheltie (every dog for that matter) will have their own personality. Some exhibit none of the standard breed traits while others have them to the extreme. You can get a good idea about the puppy from the parents, but nothing's a guarantee...
