  • Michele send your website again, I would love to see the dog cakes you make. Are there any pictures? How is our Ernie doing today? Hope he is improving even more.
That picture of Trapp and Earnhardt sleeping is adorable. Trapp is reassuring Earnhardt being there for him and Earnhardt in turn is reassuring Trapp. Trapp knows something different is going on with Earnhardt and Trapp is there to protect him, don't you think? Don, My fiance, had brain surgery 2 yrs. ago ( it wasn't cancer, thank God)
There was a long recovery time at home. I had to go back to work when Don was getting better and Mally was right by Don the whole time. Mally would sleep right up next to Daddy, Don. He still watches over Don a lot to this day. Mally thinks it is his job to watch over Daddy and a sheltie needs a job!
Wondering how Earnhardt was doing this morning. Better I hope. Also, I wanted to mention this: Awhile back your husband said something about someone needs to help Jasper break out of his crate so he can be up on the bed with the other 2 dogs. Listen to this: we doggiesat our daughter's friend's yorkie overnight. Emily, Don and myself went down the street to grab a bite to eat. We put Angel, the yorkie, in Mally's old crate. When we got home. Mally had the rod up in the air almost all the way, he was at the 1st step of breaking Angel out to play with him. I wonder if we were gone longer if he would have been able to break her out?
Yes we made Earnhardt an honorary Sheltie a long time ago! He's the loving big guy brother to two of the puppers born here so we're all about wanting Earnhardt to be a happy and healthy boy. Sending big love to the big guy from all the shelties here in the mountains of NC.
Glad the meds are working for Earnhardt. I would not give up on trying the Glucosamine for good measure. I liked what Dr. Sheli (Justicemom) said in her yesterday's post to you. She even broke the amounts down for his weight. And gave a powder-type she has used on dog's with success. Mally was lame at a young age from Lyme disease and our vet, who is also an orthopedic vet recommended glucosamine, cholgrotin(however spelt), and MSM and it really helped Mally. He does not limp anymore and can run to his toys in retrieving and run back. I am glad Earnie's blood work was good. Earnhardt continues to be in my prayers. Also, I personally am happy to have Earnie on the sheltie forum, I do not care if he is a sheltie or not. I feel I know him, he is one of us and I love Earnhardt and only want the best for him, which he has with you, I want him not to be in pain anymore and it sounds like he is on the road to that. What a wonderful family he has!
I offer my help at peak times to flower shops. This year I was asked to help at a new flower shop that opened in Nov.
But yes I have floral experiance from working in NY,at one flower/gift shop.I always was asked to work all the big holidays,to help green containers, take care of all the fresh flowers, and do rose arrangements.
I was reading the post you wrote about de-thorning and removing leaves... do you happen to be a florist ?
I want to wish you a very Happy Birthday. That's cool you share your birthday with another forum member. How is our boy Earnhardt doing today? I hope he is better. Still sending up special prayers for him. Please give him a gentle hug from me and a strong hug to the puppies and to the kitty, too if cats like hugs?
