Yes it will. Females tend to blow coat four months after a heat cycle. Settling those hormones will help her to have a big coat.

Cancer from a retained testicle can be a higher risk.... but it’s not going to happen overnight. I wouldn’t be worried to wait till six months or even a year. Your puppy is still very young and there is time for that testicle to drop yet. I’d give him to six months and it just may come down.

A good spray on conditioner works wonders for the coat. Making it also easier to comb out. Ice on Ice or The Stuff are good ones. You can also make your own by diluting a good pet conditioner such as the Isle of Dogs brands. Dilution rate would be around one to two tablespoons of conditioner...
