I had a poodle years ago. Unfortunately much inbreeding has happened with that breed and I don't think I'd want one now. The one I had was very smart and very stubborn and climbed my 4 foot chain link fence to escape. Might be more than grandmom would want. I'm a grandmom and I wouldn't do it now.
We had a foster that had a fatty tumor on her hind leg. Didn't seem to bother her at all but it kept getting bigger. We had it removed and the vet was glad he removed it because it was wrapped around the ligament. He said in the not too distant future it might very well have crippled her.
No, I never saw her parents. She was given to a friend when the breeder was overwhelmed. Friend actually got 3 of them. I ended up with this little girl.
Not bleaching, as it's just sort of a ring around her tail between the gray and the white. I do see a little brown shading on her face but...
She's here! She's adorable.
BUT she has the tiniest little bit of brown on her tail between the gray and the white. Her papers say bi blue. Doesn't that brown make her....something else???
Oh and I don't care a whit. I just know someone will want to talk about her coloring and I don't want to...
Bi blue? Bi black? Merle? I'm confused.

(I hope this works)
I was just sure he was a sheltie but I have no knowledge of border collies so I was afraid I'd make a mistake about him. I'm DELIGHTED to know that a sheltie person got him. That is terrific.
Thank you for letting me know. I was fretting about him terribly until you told me he was being adopted.
Seems that spinal stroke has been ruled out. CT scan showed nothing. All tests including, liver, kidney, etc have come back normal. The ONLY test that has come back abnormally is thyroid. Very low.
The experts seem to continue to be stumped.
Posted on Facebook by Central Illinois Sheltie Rescue about a little Sheltie they got yesterday:
Fawn Update: Thursday Mid-Day.
We have nothing. She is in ICU, at the U of I in Champaign.
The Neurology team is stumped, and are calling in the Toxocology team next. We are passing on all your...
