I have not looked at Denise's full album yet,but I'll tell you,in alot of the pictures one really has to take a close look as Jasper & Spitfire were near doubles in some.

I did find a distinguishing marking on Spitfire that Jasper does not have,and that is a very light area on his back. Spirfires coat is very puppy fluff like. Jasper's ruff & coat is defineately longer. (he's older)

Other than that they really so resemble each other. The video that Denise posted,it's Spitfire. I stopped that video 2x,and Jasper is not in there...all Spitfire.

Photos are awesome!! I will sit later and go thru all of them.

:lol: yep I had not thought of it when you posted they looked alike and even then I was like well kind of. But from the side it is hard to tell them apart at any distance. From the back Spitfire has his tail T and looking at the leg color helps also. From the face Jasper has different eyes but there is still a strong resemblance. Pretty amazing really.

Sca thought he was having flashbacks of Spitfire as a pup, I think next year it will be Hartley and Spitfire who we have a hard time telling apart. Their markings and coloring are very similar. Spitfire and Sca are both gorgeous.

Sca is funny he likes to say hi to everyone and is super gentle with puppies (he even eases up on Spitfire despite being attacked all the time). He liked Hartley immediately I could tell and saw him visiting a couple of times.

Hartely even has the wings that will darken I bet. Though he has proper ears and more fluff on his head than Spitfire ever had. Color wise though it will be interesting as I think he will be real close also.
 
Having so much fun looking at all the pictures and trying to fit names to the faces! I am just cracking up at Ember - what a ham. Obviously she works it well to end up in so many of the photos!

Yes my hubby is my axle...he keeps me grounded that day. He's the cook,dish washer,poop scooper..and every now and then he might get to hold a pup or two.
I could not ever ever do this by myself. If ya'll only knew how many lists he had to get done prior,poor man.

He's my rock!
 
Thanks for sharing all the pictures, looks like a great day for a sheltie gathering. Wonderful that Michelle and Brian put in a lot of hard work to
make a fun time. It appears all the shelties got along really well. I have to say that is alot of organizing.

The area where I live we have such a variety of breeds and mixed its nice to see a group of shelties. We just don't see shelties that often. FUN DAY!

It helps when you know how to walk up to the camera and pose. :rolleyes2::wink2:

Ember was totally in her element. I don't think she played with a dog all day(though I think she did play with Jasper the day before *faint*) but she had a ball with all her adoring human fans.
