4 more weeks until we bring our puppy home!

Only from the pictures so I would choose no. 2

But as Trini writes:
spend some time with each of them and pick the one who seems to make the best connection with you

it's the feeling/connection that counts for me

Oh definitely the temperament matters the most - it was a bit hard to tell at 7 weeks still. They seem to have similar personalities though Boy 1 was a bit more alert.
I threw my keys on the floor to test how they would react and Boy 1 started barking at them. Boy 2 seemed a bit more chill, but again they change so much every day.

We'll just have to see which one tugs at our heart when we go pick him up.

I kept telling myself that the cradle test (cradle pup to see which settles first) simply HAD to be passed when I picked my Sheltie, but then there was those eyes and the inquisitiveness and I was hooked--Blaze it was. My wits seem to "go out the window". (I STILL wish I could have taken both Blaze AND his brother.)

Oh boy this is a nice "problem" to have! Generally I can zero in on a pup who visually appeals more to me but these two are a toss up! I love bigger Shelties so that would be a factor, but the little dark guy in his upside down photo has a real sweetness to his face, and I do like his coloring.

Of course you'll pick the boy who suits you most when you meet him, but it seems you can't go wrong with either one. :pop

OMG look at those faces! Cuteness overload! Tell me what is cuter than a Sheltie puppy? Obviously that's rhetorical, because there is nothing in the universe cuter!

I don't envy you having to choose, they are both beyond adorable.
