Had a great day yesterday with storm but we just weren't clicking perfectally so no Q's some really good smoking runs though just no Q's then today she had 2 great runs went to do her 3 run of the day, she started much slower then usual took 2 jumps and then hitched up lame she did one more jump and then left the course and I called end run, she appeared to be Ok after and was playing and running outside with me so after a good warm up I put her on the start line for a jumpers run with the intention that if I say anything out of the norm at all I was going to stop her right away on release she too two steps forward towards the tire the first jump on the course and then promptly sat back down, so she made the decision real easy for me I ended the run before she even broke the timer and carried her off, she's not limping or showing any signs of pain or distress and is resting comfortably tonight on her pillow under my feet as I write this post and will be off to see the vet and our phisio therapist as soon as possible, so was pretty bummed about that, don't think it's anything serious but she definitely hurt or pulled something at the start of run #3 at launch.

On a high note after not getting a Q in ADV for over 2 years and after a 3 month layoff and 6 sessions with the phisio therapist over the last month working on his bad shoulder.
Cosmo had 2 runs an ADV Gamblers and an Adv STD and Q'd Both Runs the Gambler run was normal Cosmo right till the gamble then he just took off and finished strong with 4 seconds to spare and then the Standard run was like where did this dog come from he was even bouncing thru the weave poles and having fun he even finished 6 seconds below SCT for a first and a Q, wait till you see the video I am still In shock .

So the Highs and lows of agility, My competition dog went 0 for 7 and ended up laid on injured reserve, and my fun dog who hasen't had a Q in 2 years goes 2 for 2 with a couple of awesome runs at least for him they were awesome. ITs Been a pretty up and down weekend for sure.

Oh I am sorry to hear about your weekend. First thing I am thinking is hamstring or iliopsais with the launching then sitting behavior. Hope nothing serious is found and she recovers quickly.

Thanks She's is off to DR Sarahs this morning at 10 but before going she was trying to do Zoomies with Cosmo and baiting the heck out of him this morning SO I don't think its too serious she's running fine but didn't want to jump up on the couch or the bed so she's definitely hurt something a bit.

Way to go Cosmo! Congrats!

Sorry about Storm. I hope it's not serious and she's back to her usual agility-self in time.

Vet Says Pulled Groin muscle again not very severe will reassess in about a week to see if phisio is needed. Probably my fault not stretching and warming her up enough before the run, I was #1 to the line all day so didn't have much time before end of walk thru and starting runs, I was cutting my walk thru short earlier in the day in order to warm her up But I didn't on that run.

oh my goodness, scary for Storm, glad to hear it's nothing too serious, poor little thing!
And whatdoyaknow... Cosmo figured he was gonna tell you something, like don't count me out, I can show the lil sis what I can still do!!
lol
Sometimes a break can be so good for our non drivey dogs, I guess.
