A Sheltie Christmas!

The tree is up. I start early. I hate putting it up and then having to take it right back down. So I usually put mine up the first or second week of November. Here we go (excuse my carpet!):

I'm having to buy the ornaments as I go along since they're so high. Also I don't have the sheltie tree topper yet!
 
The boys would like to point you to Article 2.1.3.c.ii) that stipulates no Xmas costumers within two weeks of Halloween. Pups apparently need time to regain their dignity before they are bribed, cajoled or forced into new costumes.

ROTFL! I knew it! Mr. Smudge was well rewarded. Some of those pictures may or may not be going on the front of Christmas cards. I can't decide. I just wish I had my new carpet in so bad! I had to crop those like crazy to hide all the really bad spots in the floor.
 
I notice the first present under the tree is a puppy one! I still havent done the xmas card photos yet - I took some shots in the garden with the pups in gift bags but the background just looked silly. Last year I put a big piece of material down as background, I think I will do that again.

We are booked for Santa Paws photos next weekend. Its run by our local RSPCA and Santa has been doing it for 16yrs. Deska loves this santa! They are great to have as a record of the changes in the pups every year.

Jessica - I can't believe you are getting new carpet! I got new carpet just before I got the pups, bad move. Now I wish I just had floor boards - at least in the lounge because Deska likes to eat on the carpet and Tully rolls and rolls in it to clean herself.

I live in my mom and dad's house. They love carpet. I think every room in our house should be without carpet. I would love that. Smudge also chews on our carpet, and my mom gets onto him when he does it. He's probably protesting the ugly color of it. :razz:
 
Oh carpet woes! I say this because I shampooed the carpet in the smaller living room last night. All of my house is hardwood,with the exception of my kitchen,which is ceramic tile.
And as hard as I have tried,we still have puppy piddle marks,from Trapp. But it shampoos well,especially if its done quickly.

Just one of those things that happen when a puppy is in residance.I just go with the flow of things. Hopefully in the spring,the carpet will come out,and we will have new flooring.

But I hear what you are saying!

Hey Jess..I see you are using the photobucket. What am I supposed to use for a link,or how do I find it to share a picture? And how do I get mine the size of yours. The pictures I posted in another thread are to small.

I hate changing the way to share pictures. FaceBook made it so easy,all you had to do was paste the link,and you got a perfect sized picture,not thumnails.

I'm not going to lie. When I see a hardwood floor I get the terrible urge to put on some socks and go sliding across the room. :biggrin2:
