Adequan

I used it on two older Aussies. Not worth the expense and having to give injections. I have had much more actual visible results with my shepherd & Melli using the K9 Immunity Plus and K9 Full Flex from Aloha Medicinals. The human version clearly improved my torn knee as well. My shepherd went from literally hopping on 3 legs to totally fine with not even a hint of off gait. Melli went from just happy barking for food to literally leaping off the floor at mealtime (not bad for an old gal of 9+ years).

Just got the appointment for Mr Chance. My vet recommend one shot every week for a month. If I do not see any results after that we should just stop using it. She has similar results... Works for some dogs and not others! Will report back as things progress!

Got his first shot today! $25 for the injection and will go back for the next three weeks. Then a tech will give the shot. No office call charge... Just an additional $25 per session.

Any ideas of what I should look for initially to gauge if it is working?

Let us know how he does, Gloria. If he's stiff or lame at all, you should see some easing of that -- maybe not immediately, but after a few shots. Fingers crossed that it helps him!

Thanks Ann! He is both stiff and lame. I have a massage therapist for him and it seems to help too. Hope these shots help! Will update soon ...
