Advice on a possible new conformation dog

yea, sorry about the test

It was a test for activity, nothing else. My time is a bit thin these days so it was faster for me to just test the activity levels than keep coming back a couple times a day to see how often and how fast posts and responses were.

The Capital District

Part of the reason for the activity test was alot of my time lately is being taken up by the formation of the Eastern New York SSC. I'm apparently interim president since I pulled all the people together for it. Speaking of which, I need to go send an email and letter of intent to the AKC listing all our members.

not sure how I feel about being tested....anyway, what part of NY are you from?

Couldn't you just have looked through some old posts and threads? Dates and times of replies are posted...

I thank you guys for taking time out of your day to be unwilling guinea pigs for my experiment and hope you wont take it personally.

Well, interesting. As you can see from the folks who took the time to think about your question (especially Barb, who is a pillar of the Sheltie Forums community), we have a great Forum here. Welcome!

Thanks, Tofu Pop for your support.

Frankly, I'm still feeling a little put out by this. I probably spent a good 15 minutes responding to the original thread in as thoughtful a way as I could. Chosing my words carefully and looking at the breed line.

I can understand how a newbie would be concerned about posting. But we are NOT Yahoo Asks!

I'm sorry but I feel like I've been used.

I'm afraid I'm with Barb on this one. While we welcome you to the Forum, as you can see we have a number of very knowledgable, active experts onboard who respond quickly to serious questions. We appreciate your owning up, and hope that you will now become a bona fide member of this group without feeling the need to play games with--or waste the time of--our membership.

Good luck with your new puppy and your club endeavor.
