.....just one last thing to ask.
Do any of you feed your dogs just once a day?
I got this advice from the breeder we got them from. I am a little hesitant to do this as I was advised by my vet to do 2 equal feedings a day as it won't "overload" their digestive system.
We have a local trainer/behavior specialist coming to our house next week, so maybe that will give us an idea what will work for us.
Thanks again for all of your wonderful help and ideas.

but its a work in progress. Some days I can make it though the whole thing without him barking and than other days its every two seconds stopping and telling him... All my other ones have their food manners they actually dont come into the kitchen while im preparing until I call them than they go into their seperate pens to eat with the exception of my old one who eats in the kitchen.
. She loves it, it works for her and she's an only dog, so it's okay for now, I think, hehe!
) and Ember won't bother him. At Diva's co owner all the dogs 4 are fed in kennels. It is so funny to see all the dogs run to their own kennel and sit in there waiting. She has a Malmute and if she didn't fed in kennels there would be no Shelties left to worry about.
