Agility app gossip

Just thinking no big plans. But if I wanted to make an app for agility.......
Thinking:
Picture of the map
Sheltie competing (maybe even a picture)
Success or fault
If fault where
If success time?
Placement

Also thinking either iPhone or iPad app that can download to a Mac app for further offline analysis. Bonus would be track the handler off a Apple Watch

Like I say just playing and pondering the odds of it ever coming available are pretty close to zero. But what other features would be nice?

I think it's an idea worth pursuing! I don't do agility competitively so I'll let others advise you. But what the heck, what else are you going to do in retirement? :ROFLMAO:

The list is huge believe it or not. Including training Ian some. However I always threatened to program some when I can do what I want vs what the boss wants. The other item on that front is embedded programming and electronics.

I think that’d be a great app to have for any sort of competing…would probably get more use though if you could track different dog sports…such as obedience or rally.
When I think of all the course maps I’ve saved from Rally…would’ve saved me some clutter with just a photo on the phone saved to an app.

Interesting thought. Of course if I made it adding other events would be later. Feature creep kills 100% of s/w projects it hits.

So drawing and outline:
Requirements
1)Import or download maps
2)draw on map
3)record video (low priority)
4)Add gestures/commands to map
5) Results

Initial would only run in portrait orientation. On left the map. On the right a tab selectable area. Area 2 is results (I have ideas but will return to this). The other is tools. This is a path tool that could be by Apple Pencil or finger to draw on map. The rest are commands or gesture icons to be placed. Probably just a text ball to start. Here is a cut at those. If the terms are wrong complain ;) also if some are missing suggest them.
1) Contact
2) Out
3) Stop
4) Over
5) right/left
6) down/stay

Thanks for critiques and comments
