Agility Politics Drama!

That's a great shame. It sounds like there has been a personality clash or something but what a pity that the fall out is affecting so many peoples' enjoyment of the sport and you've been doing so well.

I would have liked to give BAA a go next year although the shows are a little bit out of my area.

Yes Julia, it is very much a personality clash. But there is some good news. Beachside are going independent and starting up their own LEAGUE!!!!

It will be the Beachside East Anglian League. There will now be grades (I think) similar to KC, but still four heights, so Merlin should be ok.

Everything has happened so fast, and the full changes will come into effect in January, but I shall hopefully attend the December show.

As an aside, it seems BAA was very close to being disbanded last week. People have persuaded the founder to stick in there, but I now feel quite glad to be out of it.

That's a positive outcome so hopefully things will settle down and you can carry on enjoying agility. :smile2: Actually you're lucky as we don't have any leagues that I know of in Kent (not that Epic and I would be figuring in it anyway! LOL)
Good luck at your show in December - are you getting much training in? We have missed 4 weeks

I've packed all the garden equipment away, but we still have our Friday class and display practice Tuesday. I did miss a couple of sessions for various reasons. Merlin is being a pain since the cold weather hit and he can't spend all day in the garden, so I have increased walkies and trick training to keep him busy!

I'm sure Epic could be on a league and doing well, you are still in the early stages and Merlin has really only come into his own since September.:wink2: before then we were:ick
