Agility runs by Epic #3

OMG I literally clapped at the end of this video!!!!
What a difference to last run, and it's only been a little while.
Also how wonderful that he realized what's gonna happen when you put that agility harness on him, so glad he came around from being worried!
It's tough for some sensitive guys in such an environment but he was really great! He's such a super speedy little guy, you will have tons and tons of fun, running this guy! I have NO doubts you will most definitely compete, you must be thrilled!

Thank you Toffee's Mom :biggrin2: I did consider not posting the video because I thought will everyone want to see us getting elimated over and over?! But I'm so grateful for advice and feedback and I suppose this is our agility journey with warts and all!

I was so used to looking at all the negatives of obedience rounds that I just got demoralised but now I'm looking for positive things about each agility run and training opportunities. Makes a heck of a difference because then I just can't wait to run round again. Epic and I are as enthusiastic as each other about this brilliant sport. :smile2:

hey
we are darn brave women!
warts and all, ha I always think who wants to see a big middle aged woman trying to run an agility course with a short strided sheltie with confidence issues LOL
But then I AM proud of how far we've come and compare only myself and my dog to ourselves... as tempting as it is to watch other videos and wishing I was Silvia Trkman LOL and right now I am totally adoring any Jaako videos, hehehehe

That's how we learn and I must say, even when I am defensive without meaning to be, lol, I learn so much and take everything that's said here into consideration, it makes me a better handler wanting to learn more :D
I'd still be die hard fan of Greg Derret system only... and miss out on the fun of blind crosses and all kinds of stuff!! So yeah it's great to run stuff and experience by one another, and I for one thank everyone for sharing!!

I totally agree - I've learned a huge amount from watching videos and all the discussions that take place here.

This is a video taken during a training session in July that I didn't get around to posting at the time. This is typical of the sort of sequences we practice on in class.
