AKC Invitational

AKC Invatationals

Yes, it's legal, or at least it was. I don't think he's done it in a while, since the equipment people tend to not stock the base for 3 poles.

There is no way that is possible that it could be legit.I am not saying he did not do it but how could it be legit?Novice is only 6 poles so how could you use 9 in an Excellent course?

Bummer!

I saw that Jenn is doing really well with a BC named Johnnie. No idea who he is

Apparently, he's fast and consistent. :wink2: My friends Lucky and Kyle were in 1st place in the 20" class after round 2, but had 3 faults in round 3, so they're probably out now. I expect them to really go all out in round 4 and smoke that hybrid course.

Also, just heard that Donna and Icy, also from NM and EPR, just q'd in round 3, so that makes them 3 for 3 and put in 7th place in the 16" class. They are very consistent.

I think I know the johnnie she is running. He's a really nice dog with an interesting handler. You always know when she's running as you hear her yelling loudly JOHNNIE frequently on course. I could be wrong, but that's who I think it is. Can't think of the name of the woman who owns him.
One of the juniors from here won a class in the juniors competition with her 12" sheltie

AKC Invatationals

Just saw that a lady that trains around here won the 24" Standard class with her Doberman, Flare.

Thought that was pretty cool.

Found a video of them running in the challenger class and they are obviously a talented pair!

Awesome!! Doesn't it seem strange that a BC nor a sheltie won plus a mutt won also.I personally do not think that AKC should allow a mutt to run in the Invatational as it is suppose to be the top five dogs of each breed.
