Always starving...why??

I agree he's just being a Sheltie! Missy would eat until she was sick if I let her. She loves food! In contrast, my previous Sheltie loved food as well, but was kind of shy about eating while people were watching. Missy doesn't care if you're watching or if your holding the bowl..
 
Like the rest of you, my Shelties seem to inhale their food. It takes me longer to prepare their food dishes, than it does for them to snarf it down.

Wendell, my Lhasa mix, is a slow eater, and will even skip a meal once in awhile - My Shelties cannot fathom this! The Shelties eat, then hover around Wendell's crate, trying to figure out how to get in and steal his food. (That is the reason Wendell is fed in a locked crate!)
 
I think we need a support group for Food Hounds Anoymous.

Indy is a food crazed fanatic. He goes nuts when I feed Bacca his meds thinking that Bacca is getting treats :rolleyes2:

I'm actually starting to wonder if he has gotten so fat from eating poo? Truly! I went out today to pick up poo.....and I didn't pick up nearly what I expected.

Can dogs get fat from eating poo? :gaah

Casey is my third sheltie. Randy & Cooper (I had a Cooper too!!) were starved all their lives up until they became ill. They their appetites waned. However, up until that, they were always hungry. Casey is the same way. I think it's a sheltie thing.

Don't worry unless he stops eating.

Oh I'll def be worried if coopers eating slows down!!! LOL
