Amaze-A-Ball. Highly Recommend!

The Roomba looks cool, but I think it would scare my cat and Cadbury would probably pick it up and the next thing it would be buried in a hole in the garden!

As for cats; Cadbury adores Tigs, and thinks that when she hisses and swipes him she is just playing. She cannot abide him (she is siamese and I later discovered that siamese detest dogs, apparently!). The other day he found her on the chair, she hissed at him, he thought she was playing so he...ahem...whacked her with his paw!

Not very hard, he is quite a gentle soul really and she does it to him all the time. Well she hissed even louder, growled, back arched. So he took the only course of action he could think of and whacked her again!

I then retrieved him before he lost an eye or something. He thinks she is great fun. lol.

One of my favourite "keep-him-busy" toys is Nina Ottoson's Dog Pyramid. I've just put a video up of Romeo playing with it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9MF3ed3oEI

The downside is that it's plastic and on wood floors it can be really noisy and it should ideally be played with where there are not glass cabinets - Romeo can slam this quite hard into the wall (and my foot, accidentally I'm sure. Hmm.) With carpeting tho, it's not noisy at all.

The upside is it's one of his favourite toys and can keep him occupied for ages. He pushes it and knocks it around the room; treats aren't dispensed that easily (the base is weighted so it rocks around the base and the hole is near the top!).

That Roomba Pet is the cat's pajamas!

I've got dog hair and bird feathers to clean up and I'm tired of vacuuming several times a day. So I've gotten a little smarter with the birds - only food is IN their cages, but still I'm vacuuming every day at a minimum. This is worth trying.

Jessica, that video of a Sheltie turning on the Roomba is hysterical!:biggrin2:

Shelti and Roomba is a great video. The roomba might be a great investment. It can do double duty. Cleaning assistant and dog toy all in one.

I'll have to check it out. It does look like Romeo really had to work for the treats. I have a rubber ball with an inside maze and holes for the treats to drop out, but I stopped using it because it was no challenge at all.
