An Update on Ginny's Numerous Issues.

Ginny is so cute!!! She has such a sweet and innocent face. I love how she crosses her front legs. My sheltie angle used to do that too. Bailey is very unlady like. She never crosses her legs.

She still looks so small. How much does she weigh now?

Yeah, she LOOKS innocent, lol. She can be quite the little brat when it comes to Sadie though. But she is very sweet and good natured. She's funny with her belly rubs. Our outdoor furniture are all glider rockers. When I'm rocking and have my legs crossed she'll position herself over top of my foot so that I rub her belly as I rock.

She's still a little bean. She does seem to have reached the 14-14.5" mark height wise, but still weighs approx. 12 lbs. She looks especially small next to Sadie, who is 17.5" tall and weighs 24 lbs.

She's quite fluffy for such a young pup, I had to thin out her pants and her tail.

I don't think Bailey has hit the 14'' mark yet either. Last time I checked she was 13 1/2'' and 15 pounds. Bailey has so much fur too. I just thinned her pants tail and chest two nights ago.

Ginny is adorable! She's about the same size as Buffy too. She really reminds me of Buffy in these pictures. Including the odd sleeping positions... (see attached photos) I keep trying to get good pics of Buffy with all four feet in the air but she usually wakes up before I get it. That's generally how she's sleeping when I get her up in the morning for her walk, though.

Buffy barks when she's excited too, like when running around or when she is playing or with kids. We have also had success with just keeping her excitement levels down or doing a settle if she's out of hand. She hasn't been too barky recently though.... hopefully we went through the worst of that at 4-5 months.

I think I am going to need to get me a girl next time ;) Love the personality and beauty all mixed in LOL

That Ginny is adorable. Do you have her "sit like a lady" (crossing the legs) on a cue ? If you don't, you need to !!! It's a killer trick.

No I don't have it on command, that's a good idea. She doesn't do it all the time though so it might be hard for me to catch her doing.

You can wait for a capture of the behavior or shape from another behavior, such as paw / shake or touch.

If she's clicker trained and will offer a paw / shake or knows the touch command, this will be pretty easy. Snap knew the traditional "paw" (putting his paw in my hand) from a sit. Once he knew paw from the down position, then I progressively moved my hand over to right and rewarded for it. Same thing for positioning my hand lower and lower. Eventually you fade your hand and reward for duration.
