Angus is missing

I've been following this thread, but I'm not sure if this was mentioned along with the other sites....
Was he posted on petfinder.com? I don't see him listed. It might be a good idea along with everything else. I'm not sure about for everywhere else, but down here petfinder.com is a go-to site when dogs are found.

Also, this site mentions basically writing the lost message on your car window and driving around the area.

I did not do a specific search for NC,because the closest I could get is ashville.

What I did,and I finally found the posting for Angus,was on homepage of Craiglist,on the left side,so a search.

All I typed in was missing dog.I did not use specific words(sheltie,etc)

His posting was the very first one on the list.

I found him just by doing a search from home page of craigslist.I could not find him by narrowing down to canton NC.

His listing was the first on the list.If you do a search for missing dog,on the left of the home page,it will bring up everything in the whole community for craigslist.

I am sure,but can't speak for Janet,but I know they would appreciate any help,since internet is very spotty for her.These storms are playing havoc.
I will PM you with her info,along with address for them.

I am rushing here,as I need to get ready for work,but in a post I made earliar,and janet responded,there were the listings for many shelters & rescues,animal contro for Canton NC.

Janet had narrowed it down to 2,but I feel strongly EVERY shelter & animal control office needs to be contacted.

If you click on the list I made in my post,phone #'s are listed.

Janet..if you want Brian & I to drive up this weekend,please say so.He is off all weekend,and I am to.I'm off tomorrow,right thru Sunday.Just let us know ok.

It is their Lost-and-Found Option, which for an additional $12, owners receive a collar tag with the dog’s AKC registration number and lifetime enrollment with AKC Companion Animal Recovery. I am not sure what more it does than that. Janet would have had to enroll Angus in this program. Hopefully he is microchipped, because then they can contact local veterinarians (which I can do for you guys) and let them know that the dog is missing and ask them to scan any new shelties that come into the clinic.

I am not sure if janet has done an enrollment or not in CAR for Angus,and I am not sure if he is chipped either.

I did not find him on PetFinder,which was the very first place I myself looked.
I will do a listing for him.I don't have time to do it this morning,but Ashley..if you see this,could you please do one this morning for Janet.
She won't mind.
If you need anything,call my cell please,I think you must have the number.Becky,please call me today if you need info.i'm running late her,but my cell is on all the time.

I made a listing on PetFinder...it said it needed 24-48 hours to be approved. I see it there, but some information that I put in is missing. I guess once it's approved it will all appear.

I now see him listed under Lost, and under For Sale. I think I would add even another ad under Pets.
