Angus is missing

Janet, is there anything I can do? I don't mind creating some postings on Craigslist, Kijiji, etc... Especially if your internet is in and out. Please let us know what we can do. Or, pass word through Michele if you can't get online.
 
Ok,I will try to be in touch with them.If I don't get a human being I will leave info,and also a way for them to contact you.

It won't hurt tho,to be in contact with county animal control.Not sure how things are in that county,but I know here for chesterfield county,if a stray is spotted,we only have one office for animal control,so they cover a large area for pick ups.
I think any and all animal control offices & shelters must be called,even if it is not in the town.
One never knows how far,Angus may have traveled before,he may have been picked up,if that is the case.

I still beleive in my heart,he is coming home,or trying desperately to come home.
I know it is hard,with the lack of response from the family...but I still think,even if you have to get a magistrate or officer to go with you,some contact must be made with this family.Or have them contact them.They have to come to thier senses,and at least be in touch.

I know it has rained miserably,but would even leaving something from your home somewheres,maybe along the property perimeter be helpful.I know you said thier land is quite large,and they are not close to a road,it is a possibilty he is hunkered down somewheres.

I'm not sure,I did'nt notice if Janet was online here.She just messaged me quickly on facebook,and said she is drained,her whole body is exhausted.

But yes..Janet if we can be of help in anyway,please let us know.I'll do anything to get the word out & online if you need help.

Oh Janet I'm so sorry about Willow. It's terrible all this stuff hitting you at once. I just wish I were closer and could help search for Angus. The best I can do is pray and keep my fingers crossed that someone at least reports seeing him.

Seriously though...I heard that many of the shelters in the south have a 72 hour hold time and then they are euthanized. If Janet is too drained to make calls everyday....let one of us do it for you. Just delegate it out, we are here to help. Posting ads, calling radio stations, newspapers, online new sources, craigslist, etc.

Michele...could you maybe call her and see how we can help since she is not able to be online very long?

Also....is someone checking craigslist for dog sales? I can jump on now and try that out. It is worth a try.
 
Anyone know what north carolina craigslist area I should be looking in for where Angus was lost from? I am not sure of NC regions :o

Yes--please let us know. I don't want to do anything without permission, but want to help. I just checked Asheville's Craigslist page and don't see anything about Angus. I am willing to create a post--just want to make sure I have permission.
 
I found the Craigslist ads for Angus in the "For Sale" section. I think this is a good idea actually, so if someone were trying to sell him there would also be the ad for a missing dog. However, I think you should run ads in the "Pets" section and the "Lost and Found."

Janet, I will do anything to help you. I have good internet connection and can help you run ads, or anything else you need.
 
Question - when Emma was registered with the CKC, they provided a lifetime registration to petlinx, an organization in Canada that posts lost and found dogs. Is there such a thing with the AKC that Angus could be posted on?
