Angus is missing

An update~

Sorry for the length,

Just chatted with Janet, she is at work at the moment buried in paperwork.first off, thank you randi for forwarding the ad you read on Craigslist.Janet did have contact with the lady, and unfortuneately it is not Angus.

Janet has just about nil for internet connectivity. They are on a bad hub for internet, but they are going to local resturants to use internet when they can to read and check all the listings. They have called on a daily basis the shelters to keep abreast of any incoming rescues.

Janet did tell me,that when and if a sheltie comes into the two shelters that does Buncomb, and the other county, they are checked in,and they are sent to a sheltie rescue in Raliegh. She did say the name,I forgot what it was.
But Janet has been in touch with them, and will continue to keep in touch. They also have pictures & info about Angus,in the event he is brought there.

From what Janet has told me,Amber has not registered or transfered ownership from Janet to her.

We talked at great length, about the area where Ambers house is in conjunction to interstates, industrial, and water. It is a probable that Angus will not cross the bodies of water to get from point Ato B.It's pretty unlikely. To get from one direction to another,he would have to cross a major interstate, again,Janet thinks unlikly,as Angus does not like cars.

As far as desolate land,it is a good possiblity he is in Piscah stateland somewheres, which is heavily foilaged &lots of trees. There is residencial areas, but only for an area, then its nothing but forestry.

I know,at this point we are all hoping, that Angus is safe, and someone has picked him up,brought him home. And not bothered to call Janet.and it's very likely, that could happen.Whats not to love about a sheltie. He is a loveable dog.

That is what we are all hoping & praying,is that he is ok.Worst case scenario,is that he is hurt & suffering.Coyotes are abundant in this area, and we hope he has not been hurt.

I think at this point we were all hoping for a sighting, and it may still happen.Janet is going on vacation by the end of the week.Much deserved, but still is so much heartache in her voice. She has asked that I give an update to everyone. She is so appreciative of everyone far & near in thier help to get word out about Angus.

We're just going to stay positive, pray.I believe he is out there. And my hope is that he is in the comfort of a family that is taking care of him.

Michele-

Thanks so much for the update. We all have been anxiously awaiting one...I am sure.

My husband's cousin had a Sheltie that was missing for 5 months. Dakota came back home after being in the wild for all of the 5 months.....through a NJ winter and he was OK. Just a little skinny. Never lose hope.

Thanks for the update, Michele !

Please let Janet know our prayers will remain with her, till Angus is found. I hope and pray like you that he is with a family who is loving and caring for him. I don't want to even think that he may be hurt. I know the possibility is there and if it's so Dear Lord please let someone find him.

Yes, Michele, tell her we are all here. I know you do.

My heart just aches over this and Ruffles too.

McKinley is getting extra hugs and kisses much to his mortification.
