Another Flyball Update

Congrats:yes:
that's great that you tried other things- I do understand that she wasn't into them.
while I would say that all mine love agility, Dixie did obedience and rally for me. when she wanted to do those things, she looked as good as Cranberry but he actually liked those things and was good all the time, wherever we went. his age/physical issues are starting to interfere so not sure how many more shows he'll go to.....
despite Sheep's urging, we never did any flyball....
Unfortunately the teams in your area are pretty much disbanded last I knew. A lot of racing north or if you go east in FL. I would have continued but Angus has the attention span of a puppy and no ball drive at all. He is all party dog and getting petted :ROFLMAO: Maybe #4 one day.

Thanks! She’s had a good year. She got a new sister in July. A blue merle Aussie named Roxie. It took about 8 weeks before Missy decided Roxie was okay enough to play with. They get along fine now, but Missy is definitely top dog in the house.

We finally had our big flyball tournament in Houston that hadn’t happened since 2019. In October we went on a big road trip to Alabama to play at a tournament and then Georgia to visit family.

She’s less than 1,500 points away from her 70k title, which will most likely be her last Flyball title. She should get that in March I think. #6 sheltie overall is achievable too. I’m really not focused on that as much as I am just enjoying playing with her as I know retirement is approaching soon.
