We had another successful day at the obedience Christmas show. Simba and I placed 2nd in pre-beginners obedience. We where competing against dogs who are much older and more experienced but he just went out and worked better then he has ever worked in the ring. He had a brilliant score in heal work and did a lovely recall but broke his sit stay 5 seconds from the end and then sat up on the down stay as I walked back to him. Simba has always disliked stays and he used to get very stressed when training so I had to take it really slow so for him to even stay for 10 seconds in the ring would have been amazing but he did one better and stayed for 55 seconds
We have our next show in January and I can't wait to see how well he works for me in a months time
He is a clever boy
