Love your coat Teddy! My dogs also come in quick of course it’s -12 outside with a windchill of -38! Cold cold cold but at least we have no snow or rain!

Yes…if you have to go outside remember to walk like a penguin…slow steps OR…do what I saw (on video) some paramedics doing when it was extremely icy out, they actually got down on their hands and knees and crawled across the highway. Do whatever you can to avoid falling on the ice!

his humans, however, are not. inside of windows are iced up, door locks frozen shut, pipes left on to drip overnight so they don't freeze.
And taking him out is not fun :( He does slip a bit more on the snow and icy ground.

My daughter lives in Winfield MO, not a happy camper. Four kids inside, way too cold to let them out!
 
Today Gavin had an accident. we had to change the door for him to go out to go to the bathroom (the one we have used all the time as frozen shut), so I think he got confused as to how to tell us he needed to go out. My 83 yer old Mom isn't as accepting of his old dog issues as she is of her own old lady issues. She vaccilates between not letting him go into certain rooms and then just leaving him unattended in the living room for an hour while I am on a work call. I can just bring him with me ALL THE TIME, but it just makes things more complicated, full time dog and cranky parent caregiving is not fun.

I hear ya Cindy, I deal with that ALL the time! Yesterday it was me taking the bowl away from Finnie that my mom had tried to give him to clean (granted it was salad) but it had onions in it! So then my mom says we’ll why did you even put onions in it?, like it was my fault:ROFLMAO::gaah

This happens all the time! Also yesterday she called me while I was working (fortunately a short shift) because her tv wasn’t working. I was 5 minutes away so I ran home and fixed it but then I had to take the dogs outside and I ended up being late for my next client. Never a dull moment!
