Moe Update

Just talked to Cathy up at PSSR and she said that Moe is enroute to Southern Ontario Sheltie Rescue, in Ohio.

Moe is safe, now if I could just calm my heart down!!

Say that again? Do you mean he's going to Ontario? You wrote Ohio.

The people at SOS are wonderful! This is the rescue that Toby came from as well as Tagg's Tinsel. Its nice to hear they'll be looking after him, if that's where Moe's going.
 
Yes Ontariosheltie, he is enroute to Ontario, not Ohio. I mistyped. Awww, I was hoping that he might be closer. I will keep myself updated on this beautiful little one.

Sheltie in Ohio

Kate, I am a little confused. Are you really going to try to adopt Moe? Will they transfer him to you or do you have to go there? Please let us know what you decide. God Bless you and Moe and all our beloved angels.

I am ecstatic! I saw this guys sweet face in the wee morning hours and started emailing rescues immediately. I was even thinking of driving there myself if nobody could help. He broke my heart. That sweet face. How do you leave him behind? The website said they would do out of town adoptions and I am so glad he is going to Canada. Many sheltie lovers there.
 
Southern Ontario Sheltie Rescue is in Ohio? Got me confused. Just glad he is out of the pound and on his way to a forever home.

what a great group here at sheltienation, dannysmommy, you really got me with Moe, he's calling me, too.

So glad to hear he's on his way to a rescue group!

But who on earth could pack up and leave him behind intentionally? That bothers me so much.:(

Wrote earlier that I made a typo and it is Southern Ontario Sheltie Rescue.

Moe was the ONE. The one that beckons a little bit more and you just feel him in your sheltie bones.

If he were in Ohio husband and I were going to tag base with PSSR, hopefully get a relay and scoop him up, pronto. Knowing that he is safe with a good group helps.

Thank you so much for being up in the wee morning hours to find Moe. I must tell you that because of your efforts and alert sheltie sensibilities I now know that I am opened up to the wonderful awakened feelings of shelties yet to come.

I had thought that with the death of my sweet Seamus, a part of me was hollow and shut down. I am not hollow nor shut down.

Harper Lee might not concur, but she will learn!!!!

Happy to hear you may be open to love another, you're an amazing Mom and I know there is a wonderful Sheltie out there that really needs you. Hugs my friend.
