Happy birthday beautiful Bela girl!!!!!!!

I just love your success story and it is actually the story that convinced my BF that our next dog will be a rescue (I just remember when I showed him your video of Bela barking for one of the first times, I swear I saw a tear of joy in my I'm-not-that-into-dog-boyfriend's eye :lol:).

Hi, ya'll. It's Bella-boo.

(I don't know why mom callz me that - must be my name!)

I had somethin' called a burfday! It mus' be a purty good thin' cuz I gotz lotz a treats and pettin'. And mom got me pupsikles! I wuz a leetle skerry that they wuz so cold, but they wuz gud! Momma let me wear my pretty party collar with bellz on its all day. I wuz so booteful!

I am glad my barking will give some other Sheltie a nu home. Forevez homez rule! They gives u a noo name and love and treats. But they also haz bad stuffs like dishwasherz and clothesz washerz that make too much noise. And baby sisterz that are hyperz all tha time.

Thank yoos everbodie for the burfday wishes. I thinks I'll be stayin' heerz a looooooong time!

Dear Bela:
I hear it is your birthday/rescue day today. It's amazing how much different the world really is. To get yummy food every day, clean water to drink, soft bedding to sleep on, toys to chew on, and best of all, to be able to run and feel the sun is a wonder to behold. It makes every day special for shelties like you and me and I show my happiness by spinning round and round. Best of all, there are humans that love us, really love us and want us to feel safe - it doesn't get any better. We are lucky, you and I, and our parents need to know that every morning when we wake up we celebrate. Give your humans extra special kisses today. Tell them there is one being sent from me too.

It's Bela-boo again!

I have been so luckie in mine forever home. Mom sez I am booteful about a thousand times a day.

I want all my Sheltie friends to have forever homes, too. Mom agrees wif me, and wants to have an other Sheltie pup come liv wiv us. Dad, not so much. I need sumbuddy to help me teach baby sis Gracie some mannerz. She is so rooode sometimes.

I am so glad my momma picked me. She told me today when we were snuggled that from the moment I was put into her arms, she loved me. I didn't learn to luv her for a while after that. I was too skeered.

Momma sez we'll all have 'nother celebratin' day on June 6th - that was the day I came home to live with her. But I'm six years old now, and a big girl - I get to go to the dog park tomorrow!!!
