Oh this is so great - being naughty means he feels good enough to do so! You are right; it was a nice feeling to see a positive post on one of our seniors! Thanks Cindy. I love that you do not take his longevity for granted and treasure him even with the extra care-giving he requires.

He is a total love. So sweet and gentle.

I decided a long time ago, that since Gavin's life revolves around me (even more so since his leg isues), he deserves the best I can give him.
It can be a tricky balance, since obviously I can't spend my entire life trying to make him happy. But I try and do what I can to make sure he knows he is loved.

Not that Gavin is acting like 10 year old. He farts more often now. He still will not eat occasionally. Usually after a morning outing where he is quite active. He pokes around the food bowl for his medicine treat and then takes a nap. As long as its not more than a few times a week, I won't get worried. But for a total food hound, it took a while for me to not freak out over this. But he LOVES the adoring attention he gets in his wagon. And he gets a lot, because he is so much more prominent as people walk by. I hear people talking about him constantly, about how sweet and cute he is. Good thing he can't hear or he might get full of himself!

I can see where Gavin in his wagon would stop traffic, the cutie pie. It is hard when they change the routine they've had all their life, but you have a great attitude about it.
