Best Tricks

Thanks!
Shoes help. Socks, not so much. But I trained in on bare feet first! So when I did it outdoors with shoes, they found it much easier to stay on!

It's been months since I've worked on my "stupid pet tricks" with Claussen or Little Bear. I decided to start up again today and Claussen actually retained most of his tricks pretty well...slow response time as usual but using a clicker or immediate reward never sped him up. Here's a few of his tricks-not the best form in some but it was the only vid I could get without any hiccups haha..

Really good ! I love the "sexy" pose. Sally really has a hard time with roll over- she just kinda flops around...any suggestions ?

Haha..Claussen's sexy pose is beginning to look more an more like "please to kill me" with how he's started crossing his paws and stretching them out. Mine both flopped around when asking for a roll over initially. I fixed this by getting them used to the sensation of rolling over. I'd say roll over many times during the task and help them as little as possible but as much as necessary. By help, I mean by guiding them with my hands to roll over. Eventually as soon as they would hear the command and then feel my hands on them they would roll over by themselves. In one training session, I would roll one dog over about 20 times. Claussen took about a week to get it solid (rolling over from a stand). Little Bear my daring no black got it in 2 days at 10 weeks old. Just get your dog comfortable in that awkward position. Does your dog struggle when you try to flip it over?
